  33. Quattro/Pro is the new spreadsheet from Borland International. It
  34. is a serious competitor to 1-2-3 and contains a menu tree to make
  35. it keystroke compatible with 1-2-3.  Finanicial Analysts, who use
  36. spreadsheets for a living, are starting to adopt Quattro as the
  37. new standard.  As you can see, the HELP SUBSYSTEM available with
  38. PullDown v2.30 is indeed powerful and flexible.  Up to 50 lines of
  39. help can be maintained for each and every selection within the
  40. system, and can be defined to be called with a special command
  41. within any option, at any time.  (See ADVANCED.DEF)

  233. The .HLP file follows closely with the .DEF file.  It is
  234. best to create the .DEF file you want, edit out all but the
  235. % titles and then create your help screens.  Help is simply
  236. text typed below the name used to call the menu, ended with
  237. a simple sequence of '###'.  It is one of the finest features
  238. of the system, and is available to all users, registered or
  239. not.  A special command SCROLLBOX can also be used to call
  240. similar help screens as required during execution of
  241. statements under a selection.
